This is the story of a beautiful simple girl trapped between stone buildings, chaos and smoke of the city of Cheekrest. In a town of muddy streets and aggressive people, she keeps her corner of heaven away from the busy streets, dreaming about the wonderful peaceful landscapes of Alaska and the faraway prince-charming stuck on cloud nine in worlds where no man has gone before.
She always had a flaire for pleasure. In simple airy moves she could build a world of beauty, with the taste and sound of delicious hedonic vibrations. Her favourite delight would be a sweet cherry pie and a cup of hot chocolate after a long walk back home through white snowy streets. She had to protect her magic from others, who resented it because of this discrepancy of views that burned their manners and awareness of this world. She would often hear others telling her: « your happiness depresses me » and « your kindness is annoying ».These words would get to her and make her eyes even more wistful every time.
This air of regretful longing followed her wherever she went. And every year, she would make plans to escape, away from Cheekrest, to wonderland, some 7 700 km west. One day, she actually started packing and said her goodbyes to the dark city walls. Her farewell unchained her eventually as she commenced her way on the bright path towards the western sun, that was worthy of her.
